Yoshi Yamamoto wins Willis E. Lamb Award

Yoshi Yamamoto, Professor of Applied Physics, Emeritus, wins Willis E. Lamb Award for Laser Science and Quantum Optics this year. This award is presented annually at the Physics of Quantum Electronics Conference for outstanding contributions to the field of quantum optics and laser science. The award honors Willis E. Lamb Jr., famous laser scientist and 1955 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics.
